Your next destination will be Lake Nakuru National Park – situated on the floor of the reat Rift Valley and the best destination for birding enthusiasts. This park derives its name from Lake Nakuru which is a soda lake situated within the boundaries of the park. Day 1: Arrival
Upon your arrival, you will be met by our driver/guide who will brief you about this 17 days Kenya safari and what you need to look forward to during your trip and thereafter, you will be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi to rest.

Day 2: Nairobi city tour and transfer to Masai Mara Game Reserve
After your morning breakfast, you will embark on a Nairobi city tour to discover so much of the hidden gems within this city. Some of the places you will visit include the Giraffe center where you may get the opportunity to feed the giraffes, the national Museum of Kenya, the local markets and much more.
Proceed and have lunch within Nairobi before you embark on a road trip to Masai Mara game reserve – Kenya’s prime and leading destination. This 4.5hr to 5hr scenic drive will present you an opportunity to spot the beautiful Kenya countryside and much more.

Day 3-4: Full day Masai Mara exploration
For the rest of the 2 days, you will explore Masai mara to discover the various wildlife species that are found here. These include zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, several species of birds, the big 5 game animals, hyenas, gazelle, common reedbuck and much more. On top of wildlife species, you will have the opportunity to view the incredible scenic views of so much of the wildlife species that can be seen within the park’s boundaries.

Day 5: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park
After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Nakuru National Park – another most visited and popular destination in Kenya. While here, you will get the opportunity to see a number of wildlife species that reside within the park such as flamingos, gazelles, zebras and much more.
This is situated 3.5hrs – 4hrs away from Masai Mara game reserve once you arrive, you will check in to your hotel for lunch prior to heading for a game drive in the park in the afternoon.
After your game drive, return to your lodge for dinner and then rest.

Day 6: Game drive and transfer to Samburu National Park
Early morning breakfast, check out of your lodge and do another brief game drive within the park to look out for some of the wildlife species you hadn’t seen during your previous game drive in the park.
You will then embark on a scenic drive to Samburu National Park – Kenya’s best place where you can see rare wildlife species like reticulated giraffes, grevy zebra among other wildlife species. On your drive to the park, you will have your lunch enroute and then proceed to the park where upon arrival, check in, have dinner and then rest.

Day 7: Full day Samburu National Park
Early morning breakfast and head out for a full day game drive within the park to see a number of wildlife species that reside here. During your first game drive, look out for rare wildlife species that reside within the park. You can either choose to have a picnic lunch within the park or head back to your lodge for lunch prior to your second game drive within the park.
You will then back to your lodge for dinner and rest.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Naivasha
After your morning breakfast, you will embark on a scenic 7hr – 7.5hr drive to Lake Naivasha – Kenya’s fresh water lake to have a look at some of the wildlife species such as hippos, birds like flamingos and much more.
Once you arrive at your hotel along or close to Lake Naivasha, you will check in and then rest.

Day 9: Transfer’s Hell’s gate National Park
Morning breakfast and head for a Lake Naivasha exploration where you will be able to see some of the exciting features. You will proceed to Hell’s gate National Park which is the closest national park to Lake Naivasha and popular for its geological sites found within the park
Upon arrival, check in to your lodge and proceed with a visit in the park to check out some of the notable sites like the hot springs, the hell’s gate gorge, the Fischer’s tower and much more beautiful views.

Day 10: Full day Hell’s gate National Park
After your morning breakfast, you will be transferred to Hell’s gate National Park where you will be able to spot the various wildlife species in the park that include zebras, African buffaloes, elands, gazelles, klipspringer antelopes, several species of birds and much more.
You will head back to your lodge for lunch and then return to the park to have a more look at the various wildlife species and see the beautiful scenic views of the rocks plus much more.

Day 11: Transfer to Amboseli National Park
Morning breakfast, check out of your lodge and transfer to Amboseli National park – another leading destination that is situated in the south eastern parts of Kenya. Enjoy a 5.5hr – 6hr scenic drive to the park that introduces you to the beautiful countryside.
Upon arrival in Amboseli National Park, check in to your lodge, have a late lunch and relax preparing yourself for the next day.

Day 12: Full day Amboseli National Park

Return to your lodge for late breakfast and rest. Day 13: Transfer to Tsavo West National Park
After your morning breakfast, check out of your lodge and embark on a trip to Tsavo west National Park which is also known as the largest national park in the country. This is also the closet national park to Amboseli and upon arrival, check in to your lodge and head for a game drive within Tsavo to spot the various wildlife species and beautiful features.
Return to your lodge for lunch and then head for another game drive in the park for more wildlife viewing prior coming back for dinner and resting at your hotel.

Day 14 – 16: Transfer to Tsavo east National park and game viewing
For the next 2 days, you will visit Tsavo East National Park which is also part of the Tsavo conservation area and close to Tsavo west National Park. Even though it’s less visited, your trip to Tsavo east will always remain memorable as this is the best park to visit for the best game viewing experience.
It has various number of wildlife species that include; several species of birds, herds of dust – red elephants, waterbucks, lions, leopards, buffaloes, gerenuk among others.

Day 17: Transfer back to Nairobi
On your last day of the 17 days best of Kenya safari, after your morning breakfast, check out of lodge and you will embark on a scenic drive back to Nairobi where upon arrival you will be dropped at either the Airport for a flight back home or to any lodge of your choice within the city.
This trip can be tailored to make it end in Mombasa at either the airport or any lodge of your choice.
